Wagga City Council completed the refurbishment of two public facility spaces in the city's CBD to make more accessible sites.
Lisa Saffrey, the social planning coordinator, said the finishing touches were recently added to The Rest Centre in Morrow Street, near the Victory Memorial Gardens, which followed works at the public toilets in Bangayarra Walkway in Baylis Street earlier this year.
She added the project was another positive step towards providing the city's residents and visitors with better access to purpose-designed public facilities, which enable them to enjoy our parks, festivals and retail outlets with peace of mind.

"The city now has two refurbished public facilities which are safe, clean and comfortable, and most importantly, they are more accessible at any time of the day or night," she said.
"People requiring a higher level of access, and their carers, will benefit greatly from this project."
Some community members will also have the option of buying a Master Locksmith Access Key for approximately $20, which can provide 24-hour access.
Ms Saffrey said residents can buy one from a locksmith but might need to bring a doctor's letter explaining why they need it.
Some of the inclusions in new refurbishment include toilet, shower and hand basin; kitchenette; hoist and an electronically adjustable height bed.
Council received $250,000 funding under the Stronger Country Communities Funding initiative towards the project.
