Jordan Callaghan's early long range strike gave Young a 1-0 lead, before Calum McCaffery doubled their advantage with a penalty after Leeton skipper Joey Fondacaro was sent off for his challenge in the box.
Despite being reduced to ten men, United scored early in the second half through Carlo Trifogli before two penalties from in-form striker Adam Raso sealed the win.
Leeton, who hasn't won first grade title since 1993, will now play Henwood Park in next week's elimination final after they lost Sunday's qualifying final to Lake Albert 2-1 in extra time.
Henwood Park is the only top five side Leeton is yet to beat this season after accounting for Hanwood, Lake Albert and Young the past three weeks.
Raso has scored seven goals the past three weeks and shapes as the danger man for the Hawks.
"I knew we could do it, even with ten men," Leeton coach Frank Alampi said.
"Up until that point (Fondacaro send off) we hadn't taken our chances, but the boys were brilliant in the second half."
Alampi indicated they would look to appeal Fondacaro's red card in a bid to have him available for the cut-throat Henwood Park clash.
"It hasn't just been the last few weeks which has given us confidence, we're confident we can beat anyone on our day," he said.
