Golden Guitar winner and country music sensation Fanny Lumsden is a Riverina girl herself, and said the excitement of getting back to the stages she knows well is building.
"I live near Tumbarumba and grew up out near West Wyalong, so anywhere in the Riverina is my favourite place to play," she said.
"There's a bit of nostalgia and comfort to it. So many people from rural areas grew up going to events at these halls, like different little shows, so it really taps into those memories."

The tour started back in 2012 on a smaller scale but has now graced the stage of more than 70 halls Australia-wide, all the while raising money for various communities along the way.
"It was meant to be a one off but so many people told us to keep it going and come to all these different halls, we will have played at 130 halls by the end of this tour," Lumsden said.
Lumsden and her band The Thrillseekers will perform at the following halls around the region:
- Toppy Hall, Wyalong - September 20
- Palladium Palace Theatre, Marundah - September 21
- Old Junee Hall, Old Junee - October 4
- Gunbar Hall, Gunbar - October 26
- Lake Cargelligo Hall, Lake Cargelligo - February 14
- Boree Creek Hall, Boree Creek - February 15
Lumsden and The Thrillseekers are also on the hunt for local bands, singer and performers ideally under 25 to help support their shows around the region. To apply, email countryhallstour@gmail.com.
