Harpley has Harps, Molly Kelly and Irish Eagle engaged on the nine-race card.
The success of Harps at Riverina Paceway on Friday gave the Junee trainer-driver a one-win lead over title holder Ellen Bartley.
Bartley has seven runners at Leeton.
Harps was an emergency last week but took advantage of a late call up to take out a Menangle Country Series heat.
Irish Eagle is also coming into the race after an impressive win on debut.
Harpley believes the two-year-old has a bright future.
"I'm a bit excited about him but time will tell," Harpley said.
"With a few more runs under his belt then we will know what he is really like but I think he's a really promising horse on what he showed first up.
Molly Kelly is also looking to bounce back after an unlucky effort last week.
It is the second last meeting of the season with things to wrap up at Young on Friday.
Harpley, who is a hobby trainer, has tastes success at the highest level but never thought he would be in a position to win a trainers' title.
However he would love to emulate his father Allan by achieving the feat.
"Dad won plenty over his career and it would good to say I've won one in my life," he said.
"This could be the only chance I ever get and I never thought I'd get anywhere near it but with Jordy (Seary's) help we've had a good season.
"Either way we've had a good season what it would be nice."
