Riverina MP Michael McCormack has invited member of the public to sign a condolence book for Tim Fischer AC following the former deputy prime minister's death last week.

"If you would like to deliver a personal message to the family of Tim Fischer AC following his passing on Wednesday, I have opened a condolence book in my Wagga office," Mr McCormack stated on Facebook.
"Please come in between 8.30am and 5pm Monday-Friday and write your memories of Tim."
Mr McCormack's office plans to have the condolence book available at 11-15 Fitzmaurice Street until after Mr Fischer's funeral on Thursday.
The public are invited to attend the funeral which will be held at the Albury Entertainment Centre at 1pm with Lester and Son Funeral Directors asking those attending to arrive early and be seated by 12.15pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust in Mr Fischer's name at awcancertrust.org.au/make-a-donation

Mr Fischer, from Boree Creek, held the NSW seats of Sturt and Murray and the federal seat of Farrer between 1971 and 2001.
Farrer MP Sussan Ley MP has also opened a condolence book in her Albury office.
