The Blaze, looking for a third championship in four years, set up the victory with a dominant 45-24 first half and will take on Coffs Harbour in the grand final after they outlasted Queanbeyan in a thriller 64-60.
Wagga has lost just once in 11 games this year, and accounted for Coffs Harbour 76-51 in their only meeting this season in June.
Import forwards Khiana Clark (21 points), captain Stephanie Male (15) and young big Amelia Hassett (14) led the way for the Blaze against the Thunderbolts.
Sienna Kennedy (15) and Samantha McCubbin (13) battled hard, but couldn't match the Blaze's greater scoring options.
Sunday's grand final tips off at 1pm, with a live stream of the match available at Basketball NSW's Facebook and Twitter pages.
