Turvey Park Fire and Rescue teams were called to two separate car fire incidents overnight in Wagga.

The first occurred early on in the night at 8:30pm on Dove Street, Mt Austin, according to Jeff Edwards of Turvey Park Fire Station.
"The car was totally destroyed and burnt out, the windows were completely smashed in and the tires were ready to explode," he said.
"It was quite a dangerous incident and could have done a lot more damage if not dealt with quickly but luckily a lot of the surrounding residents of the park were still awake and alerted emergency services."
Mr Edwards said police were also called to attend the incident, the The Daily Advertiser are yet to receive confirmation from police.
The second incident occurred just before 2:30 early in the morning under the rail bridge alone Red Hill Road - a location Mr Edwards said was "notorious for car fires".
"Police were not at the second incident as far as we know, but we will be alerting council as well of both so the vehicles can be safely removed," he said.
