Gundagai Visitor Information Centre will hold a party on August 17 to "celebrate the return of our much loved Aussie icon, the Dog on the Tuckerbox".
"The celebrations will run from 9am to 1pm with a great line up of entertainment, market stalls, live music and more," the centre said.
The statue was pushed over in a vandalism attack late last month.
The party will feature regional food and wine and children's activities.
As of August 11, the dog statute had yet to be returned to its mount on the tuckerbox.
9am: Our welcome home part for the dog kicks off with our market stalls, amusements and live music performed by Andrew Swift, before the official unveiling!
10am: Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony, and an official address from Mayor Abb McAlister, and Local Member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke
11am: Lazy Harry's Live Music Performance as market stall trading and entertainment continue.
12noon: A'Blaze Live performance with amusements and markets stalls to continue trading.
