Wagga High took a 1-0 advantage when Aymen Kambar scored off a corner, but hosts Kooringal dominated after the break to seal a 3-1 win.
After Barzan Ismael latched onto a through ball to level scores, Salam Simoqy's long range shot with about 15 minutes remaining handed Kooringal their first lead of the game.
Another goal from a header off a long through ball from Natheer Al Hasan sealed the win for Kooringal, despite Wagga High enjoying a number of chances late in the match.
Wagga High dominated the final few minutes but couldn't find the back of the net, including missing a penalty with the last kick of the match.
The fixture was open to all the schools' refugee students keen to participate in an organised and competitive game of soccer.
