Those planning their weekend around the Aussie NightMarkets will have to find a new way to keep busy after the food fest organisers announced the event will be postponed.

Organiser Sam Adams said the rain forecast meant the markets could not go ahead.
"Dodging the cold is a bonus, but the rain was the big reason, however we will be back at the end of September so pencil that in," he said.
In other news:
"Moving events like this, particularly considering venue bookings and that sort of thing, is difficult so we don't make the decision lightly but the weather is always something we have to have on our radar and be wary of unfortunately."
The Aussie NightMarkets will return on September 27 and 28, weather permitting.
