Simon Matthews officially became an Australian citizen alongside his two daughters Freya and Phoebe, after moving from England in 2012.
"It's been great, we've really enjoyed the ceremony today and it's great to make it official finally," Mr Matthews said.
"We're from Colchester originally and our family love coming out to visit."
Freya Matthews said it was an exciting day for her.
"I think it's super cool being an Australian," the 12-year-old said.
Another lady from Singapore also became an official Australian citizen, and said it was something she had been waiting a long time for.
"It's very exciting, it's been a year and a half in the making so it's great to finally have it all official now," she said.
China, New Zealand, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Oman were also represented, welcomed by mayor Greg Conkey and Wiradjuri Elder James Ingram.
