A MAN has been charged after police allegedly found hydroponic cannabis setups and a gun in an Ashmont house.

Just after 2.30pm yesterday, police officers executed a search warrant at the property on Alexander Street.
Police seized cannabis plants from a bedroom inside the house, a number of bags containing cannabis, a bag containing MDMA tablets, and an unregistered air rifle.
The 22-year-old man was arrested at the premises and taken to Wagga Police Station.
He has been charged with possessing an unregistered firearm, cultivating a prohibited plant, and four counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
The man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Wagga Local Court on September 4.
