A man has fronted court over an incident where his B-double truck crashed into a ute on the Hume Highway at Mullengandra, killing the other driver, a 63-year-old man. The truck driver, 46, was found to have methamphetamine in his system at the time of the crash on March 28. He faces a string of drug and driving charges, including dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death. The man will re-appear in Albury Local Court at a later date.
