Riverina League's competition management committee has tentatively pencilled in this year's first semi-final for Kindra Park.
It would be Coolamon's first final since hosting the 2009 second semi-final, back when the minor premiers earned the right for a home final.
Riverina League president Chris Flanigan believes the work that has been done to Kindra Park over the off-season has turned the venue into a finals-class facility.
"It's a bit of reward for effort," Flanigan said.
"They've done a lot of work, especially to the netball, having three courts and change rooms. They've also built the shelter and extended the ground.
"We also want to try and preserve Narrandera for the grand final as much as we can. We want to try and avoid having four games on Narrandera over two weeks if we can."
Riverina League clubs will have their say on finals venues at Monday night's delegates meeting.
Under the Riverina League's plan, only Griffith playing in the senior football of the first semi-final would result in the game being moved from Kindra Park.
If the Swans, currently second, find themselves in the first semi-final, the game would be played at Narrandera Sportsground.
Coolamon president Derek Owens said a final at Kindra Park would be welcomed by the entire community.
"Obviously its garnered a lot of attention this year and we're very, very proud of it," Owens said.
"A lot of people put in a lot of work over the off-season and I'm talking 60, 70, 80 hours worth of work on top of lots of planning over the last three years as well.
"It's not a money-spinning thing, it's more to have people recognise it and for the economic benefit to the town. It would be good for the community."
Riverina League's competition management committee will recommend the grand final be locked in at Narrandera Sportsground for another year.
The preliminary final will be at either Robertson Oval or Narrandera Sportsground, pending what senior teams are playing.
Robertson Oval will host the elimination final, while Narrandera is booked for the qualifying final and the second semi-final.
The first semi-final is on Sunday, September 8.
