The premiers suffered just their second loss as Griffith ran out 53-26 winners at Exies Oval on Saturday.
The Wagga side struggled to contain a charging Blacks outfit, who have won six on the trot to move into third, but also let in 31 points against seventh-placed Leeton at home the week before.
However co-coach Angus Stevenson isn't worried about where his team is at after having their string of 10 wins broken.
"It's frustrating as we knew what we needed to do, and there were certainly glimpses of what we're capable, of but they wanted and they were hungry for it," Stevenson said.
"We know what we need to do, but we just have to executive it as a team rather than just one off efforts."
Instead Stevenson heaped praise on the Blacks outfit.
Especially rampaging number eight Saione Ahomana, who scored four tries.
"They played really well," Stevenson said.
"They got early momentum, were able to play off that momentum and put in a complete performance for the 80 minutes.
"Hats off to them.
"I thought they kept the pressure on throughout the whole game and I thought that showed and it's where the scoreline comes from."
Stevenson is already looking forward to the chance of a rematch later in the year.
"Given how much momentum they've got it's pretty exciting that if they can keep the trajectory going they are going to set a high standard for what is going to come for finals football," he said.
