Just before 1am on Friday, the white Holden ute was flagged down by police on Red Hill Road.
After it failed to stop, police pursued the vehicle through Raymond Street into Raye Street.
Police continued until the vehicle was lost sight of in parkland off Martin Street.
It was not seen again until 2.30pm on Saturday, when police attended reports of a vehicle matching its description in the Kooringal area.
Wagga police Sergeant Steve Probst said the white ute was found abandoned on Copland Street.
"It has now been seized for further investigation," Sergeant Probst said.
"Inquiries will continue into whether it's been stolen."
Meanwhile shortly following the incident in Tolland, police were led on a brief chase through Kooringal.
Just after 2am on Friday, a white Kia sedan attempted to evade police on Kooringal Road.
Sargent Probst said the pursuit was "terminated within minutes" following the apprehension of the driver.
The car was being driven with Victorian licence plates, and is believed to have been stolen.
