Tigers proved why they sit on top of the Riverina League ladder with a 66-point demolition of MCUE, 13.10 (88) to 2.10 (22) at Mangoplah Sportsground.
Tigers brought the Goannas crashing back to earth after they had produced a month of brilliant football.
There was not much between the two teams early, before Tigers put MCUE to the sword with six unanswered goals in the second quarter.
In fact, the Goannas were held goalless for the final three quarters, with their last major coming from a free kick at the 18 minute mark of the first term.
Other than a period during the middle of the third quarter, where MCUE kicked five behinds, Tigers were well in control for the rest of the game.
Tigers coach Troy Maiden was proud of the way his team went about the win.
"Yeah, really happy. As I said the other day, Mango have been up and about and we certainly expected a tough challenge and I think early on we got that," Maiden said.
"We just needed probably to be more composed with ball in hand. I thought our composure went out the window a little bit in that first quarter but once we got the game back on our terms we actually moved the ball really well.
"It was good to put into practice some of the things we've trained, so that was nice."
It was like a training run at times for Tigers with MCUE's pressure nowhere near the level it had been in recent weeks.
Maiden thought they produced some of their best football on Saturday.
"I think we've had some good periods in a lot of games. We had some good periods against Coolamon, we had some good periods against Griffith. We might have done it for a bit longer today, maybe," he said.
"It's what we're working on and as I said to the boys after the game, we need to improve every time we come out to play. That's our aim. There's still a lot of work to do and a lot of improvement left."
Tigers' defence was superb and it was led by another strong display from Dylan Morton. Ben Kelly was another to shine, taking the points against in-form MCUE forward George Kendall.
Brendy Myers starred in attack and finished with four goals, while Jackson Kelly, Nick Ryan, Will Keogh and Jacob Osbeiston all had good games.
Tim Smith was MCUE's best, while coach Jeremy Rowe finished injured.
