The key defender played most of last week's 1-0 win over Leeton in seering pain, grabbing at his dislocated shoulder constantly after it was pulled from its socket early in the contest.
He first suffered the injury in March, but has still managed to play the majority of games for the fourth-placed outfit this year.
With a couple of other key players battling niggles, Weir's experience would be crucial against a Hawks side riding a seven game winning streak after becoming the first team to beat Hanwood last week.
"It keeps coming out and it's something I've looked into," Weir said.
"It's probably going to keep doing it until it gets a cleanout done, I'll go and see a GP and lock down what we're going to do.
"(I'll play out the season) as much as I can but if it's still giving me too much grief (I'll reassess). Sunday was probably the worst it's ever been, it was quite painful for nearly the whole game.
"There's a few things we can do to bypass that and hopefully rectify the pain a bit, at least."
Weir admitted he may be limited in what he can offer should he take to Rawlings Park on Saturday.
"If I try and to things a bit differently like stay back a bit more, not go up for headers and corners and play my role a bit safer, it should be fine for most of the game," Weir said.
"It does hinder us a little bit but we've got some tall men back there, we should be alright in that aspect.
"I'll get it strapped up on Saturday and Trav (Weir coach) will do some light exercises with me to see how is stretches out and if it stays in its socket, basically."
A win for Henwood Park, who have dropped six points all year with a deferred game still to play, would put more pressure on Hanwood (seven dropped) in the premiership race, with Lake Albert also well in the mix.
Hanwood will look to get back on track at Young on Sunday, while Lake Albert will start strong favourites against South Wagga.
