Donna Taylor, who spoke on behalf of the fundraising committee, said the annual event helps support the region's melanoma nurse while providing ongoing support and education to Riverina melanoma patients and their families.
The trust was created in memory of Amie St Clair, who lost her battle with melanoma in 2009, at 23 years old, just one day after her birthday.

This year, Melanoma Institute Australia announced it will work closely with the Amie St Clair Melanoma Trust as they continue moving forward.
"By aligning the trust with the MIA, we can provide improved, sustainable melanoma services to the Riverina region and then use this knowledge - and where possible - to replicate this in other regional areas of the state and Australia," Ms Taylor said.
She said the committee was "very excited" to reveal its annual ball will be on July 27 where the trust will celebrate its 10th anniversary.
