The second-placed Gunners were completely dominant on their home court, Will Mayfield leading the way with 34 points.
The Heat missed guard Dominic Tye and the smaller Gunners used their greater speed and mobility to their advantage.
"We didn't show up mentally or physically, and they're just too deep," Bishop said.
"The disappointing thing, and I think the coaching staff and players are award, is we didn't come in hungry enough or in the right frame of mind.
"When that happens, you get your backside handed to you.
"Wagga's aim is to look at someone like the Gunners and see that as a challenge as to where we need to get our standards to."
