HENWOOD Park coach Matt Menser is refusing to contemplate the prospect of challenging Hanwood for the premiership, despite the Hawks ending their unbeaten Pascoe Cup start with a 1-0 win at Griffith on Sunday.

A through ball put Ryan McKenzie one-on-one with the keeper, and he made no mistake midway through the first half.
Despite having Danny Johnson sent off early in the second half for two bookable offences, Hanwood pressed hard for an equaliser but came up empty-handed.
Henwood Park has now won seven straight games and have dropped six points in total thus far, while Hanwood has dropped four.
But Menser insists Hanwood is still the red hot favourite to finish top.
"I still think we're too far behind to catch them, I can't see them dropping many more points. For us to catch them means they'd have to do something bad to drop off that much," Menser said.
"We'll keep at it and if they do drop off, we'll try and capitalise.
"We probably should have put a couple past them to be honest but they played pretty well with ten men.
"I think people will come out differently against us (now) the next few weeks."
Hanwood coach Anthony Agresta said he felt a slip-up coming after a less than convincing last few games.
"It's probably not a bad thing in a way. I said after the game to the boys it's a loss that's probably been coming for a few weeks," Agresta said.
"It's more an attitude thing, the last ocuple of weeks our starts haven't been that good.
"I thought the goal was a bit controversial, I thought it was offside, sometimes decisions go against you. But they had a few chances early and could have been two or three up.
"It's not that bad a thing to have a loss, it's better it's happened now and it will be interesting to see how they (players) respond."
