Riverina Police Acting Inspector Geoff Gray said a 17-year-old woman was travelling west along River Road.
"There was some loose gravel on the edge of the road, and it appears she spun out of control and collided with a tree," he said.
"She received minor injuries and conveyed to Wagga Base Hospital.
"Investigations are still continuing."
Acting Inspector Gray said it was a timely reminder for drivers to travel to the conditions.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said a 17-year-old's car had hit a tree and was trapped by confinement on River Road, Gobbagombalin.
