Members discovered the damage when they began arrives at the Beckwith Street premises on Monday morning for a busy schedule of activities.
Plumbers and Wagga City Council staff were on site on Monday to assess and repair the damage, as members began to clean up.
It is thought the weekend's sub-zero temperatures frozen the Shed's plumbing and caused the burst pipe.
A message has been posted on the group's Facebook page, saying the Shed is closed until further notice and asking that members stay away.
It is believed the Shed could be closed for activities for at least two weeks, as the clean up and any subsequent repairs are carried out.
The water damage to the former tennis club rooms that now house the Wagga Women's Shed comes when members were getting ready to celebrate their group's second anniversary.
Two years ago it was started by Kerrie Luff and had just 60 members.
Now there are more than 200 members and, until the burst pipe, it was open five days a week for a range of activities.
It was only in February that Shed members were left with the task of cleaning up after their facility was targeted by vandals for a second time.
