During the winter school holidays, kids can meet Jacqui Love from Travel Bugs, who just loves insects.
Formerly a senior zookeeper at Sydney's Taronga Zoo, Jacqui has a passion for mini-beasts that is infectious.
Her hands-on, hour-long workshops allow participants to get up close and personal with creepy crawlies of all shapes and sizes.
This is the perfect opportunity for the little entomologist in your family.
Children will have the chance learn all about the huge lives of Australia's fantastic mini-beasts.
Children must be aged between five and 12 years and be accompanied by an adult.
Travel Bugs will be at the library on Thursday July 18 at 2pm and 3.30pm. Bookings are essential. Tickets cost just $10 and admit one child and one adult.

Learn skills in writing, researching, organising information and using photographs that will bring your family history to life.
Rae will also share her extensive publishing experiences and provide participants with the opportunity to explore a variety of family histories and memoirs.
Handouts and resources will be provided to assist you to continue your own research and writing at home.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday August 13 from 10am to 1pm. A fee of $35 applies and bookings are essential.
Participants, please bring along writing paper, pens and a photo of a place about which you would like to write.
