The store closed in early August, among 44 stores across the country, as the company collapsed.
However, US parent company Try Kids has signed a deal with Hobby Warehouse to revive the retailer with renewed focus on its online offering.
Developer Daniel Donebus said there has been some enquiries over the former building, but nothing "concrete" at this stage.
According to the Toys 'R' Us website, customers in Australia and New Zealand will be able to shop online from June 12.
The company is aiming to establish a brand new Toys 'R' Us and Babies 'R' Us "experiential" stores from 2020.
This is a new Australian company has no connection to the original Toys 'R' Us Australia and will therefore have different staff and management.
