Well-known Lockhart solicitor Ian McLeod has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his long service to the community.

Mr McLeod has been a solicitor in the Lockhart community since the 1960s, and has provided support to a lvariety of organisations and events, including the Spirit of the Land Festival, Pedalcure4MND, Lockhart Picnic Races and annual Lockhart Show.
He has served on numerous local committees including Lockhart's Woodhaven Aged Care Hostel, Aged Care Association, Rotary, Apex, Hospital and Golf Club.
Cootamundra's Jennifer Roberts received a Medal of the Order of Australia for her services to the community, particularly to youth.
Mrs Roberts founded Cootamundra Amateur Dramatic Arts Society Kids in 1976, after having been with Cootamundra Amateur Dramatic Arts Society since 1960.
