"I'm very proud," Mr Elliott said.
Mr Elliott has been a barber for 56 years and hopes to handover his business to his daughter Raelene and granddaughter Darcie Smith in the near future.
"I've been at this location for 20 years and I'm just about to retire and Darcie will takeover for me," he said.
Elliott's Barbershop, located on Baylis Street, opened about 20 years ago which marked the same time that Raelene began working alongside her role model.
"It's exciting and it's good to have the three of us together; it's special and unique and I don't think there would be too many three generations of barbers around," she said.
"With dad being a barber, I always wanted to do hairdressing and then I realised that I didn't want to do hairdressing but barbering and I wouldn't go back.
"Dad was very popular in town and I used to cut my sister's hair at home and he'd show me how."
With 20-year-old Darcie now on deck, Mr Elliott knows that his company will be left in good hands.
"Just watching my grandfather and my mum growing up; as a kid when I wasn't sure about what I wanted to do when I grew up and hairdressing was always there," Darcie said.
"I wasn't really a school lover, so I decided to branch out and start something.
"I started to do hairdressing and ended up really loving it."
Darcie started working in her grandfather's shop last week and said she is enjoying working with her family.
"It's really good, a very relaxed environment and it's good to be with family and a good support network," she said.
