The Blues made it seven wins from their first eight games with a 32-10 victory.
Lachlan Bristow again made a big impact on the scoreboard, scoring a hat-trick in just his fourth game back from a broken hand.
His brother, Blues co-coach Dean Bristow, was just happy to score another win.
"It wasn't the best, and it would have been a pretty poor spectacle with close to 20 penalties," Bristow said.
"It was stop-start and we couldn't get into a rhythm, lacked cohesion early, got involved in a bit of niggle and really couldn't flow, but down a few troops in the second half to put the game away was pleasing."
The Blues led 12-0 at half-time and were first to score in the second half when their classy hooker scored his first four minutes after the break.
Roos hit back through Glenn Dumbrell but the Blues had enough firepower.
Lewis Arragon had another strong game in the forwards while Josh Webb scored a try in his first game of the year following a series of hamstring complaints.
However the Blues have plenty of injury concerns ahead of the top-of-the-table showdown with arch rivals Gundagai at Twickenham following the general bye.
Dean Bristow will be in doubt with a hamstring, while the Blues lost Ben Roddy early to a head knock plus Zac Masters and Ben Warner came off with leg concerns.
As for Kangaroos they will be desperate to score their first win since round two when they travel to Albury.
