He wasn't at the best odds, but Good Odds Buddy certainly delivered the goods to win the Graeme Hull Memorial Wagga Gold Cup (525m) in track record time.

The Sydney visitor put on an impressive front-running display to claim Wagga's feature race on Friday night.
His littermate Good Odds Meghan ($2.60 fav) went close to the track record in last week's heat, but had to settle for fifth after being swamped late by the chasing pack.
However there was definitely no catching Good Odds Buddy ($3.10) who went on to down Cawbourne Madox ($16) by over six lengths in the blistering time of 29.93.
He became the first dog to break the 30-second mark for the trip at Wagga, and took 0.14 seconds off the mark set by Chilly Baby in 2013.
Trainer Frank Hurst was impressed with his efforts.
"He's very strong and he's smashed the record," Hurst said. "There has been some very good dogs go around here and for him to take an tenth off the record means he's going good."
Before the box draw Hurst rated more consistent beginner Good Odds Meghan the better of his two chances, but after starting from wider on the track Good Odds Buddy soon leapt to the front.
And from there he just kept on running.
"He's gone very good and it's common knowledge that he's the faster dog of all of them but he just hasn't had a lot of luck in races," Hurst said.
"But he shot off the outside and took full use of it.
"She came out, moved across and was always going to give him the dream run."
Good Odds Buddy missed out on selection in the upcoming NSW State Of Origin series despite two littermates earning their place and Hurst thought he showed selectors what they are missing out on.
He is now looking to target the Vic Peters Classic series at Wentworth Park.
It was almost a very successful venture to Wagga for the Londonderry trainer who was just nosed out by Vicki Prest's Trip Aces in the Simaroo Lodge Fifth Grade Final.
Michael Clayton took out the other big final on the night with Bit Flash winning the Wayne 'Butch' Pertzel Memorial while Bruce Williams won the Cup Consolation with Mr Avila.
