Both teams posted comfortable wins in the semi-finals at Robertson Oval on Wednesday night.
A strong four-goal performance from Kolby McMahon helped Mater Dei to an eight-goal win over Wagga High in the first semi-final.
McMahon booted the first three goals of the game as Mater Dei raced to a 25-point lead at quarter-time and were never troubled from there.
Mater Dei coach Nathan Irvine was rapt his team was through to another Carroll Cup decider.
"We're very happy," Irvine said.
"We probably didn't expect it at the start of the year but our win over TRAC gave us a chance and we played well tonight."
Irvine praised the work of McMahon, who was recalled into the team to replaced the injured Nate Mooney.
"Getting Kolby in and him getting involved so early worked out really well and was great for him and all the boys got around him," Irvine said.
Kildare then defeated The Riverina Anglican College (TRAC) for a second consecutive week, this time by 29 points.
Kildare booted four unanswered goals in the opening term to get on top from the outset. TRAC fought back in the second quarter but were unable to sustain that after the break.
Kildare coach Peter Gaffney was relieved to continue his team's unbeaten run through this year's competition.
"It's a relief," Gaffney said.
"We knew coming here tonight that TRAC were going to be hard, like we knew Mater were going to be hard earlier in the competition."
Kildare defeated Mater Dei by 31 points in the opening round of the competition but Gaffney expects a fierce battle next Wednesday night.
"When we play them it's always an enormous battle," he said.
"It's usually the team that wants it the most that wins the game and I'll back our boys in.
"One-on-one the skill of our boys is very good, we just have to keep turning up and putting in the hard yards to get the job done."
Ryan Allen, Sam Macklan, Pat Voss and Toby Lawler led the way for Kildare, while Matt Hamblin, Billy Glanvill, Sam Stening and Godfery Okerenyang battled hard for TRAC.
