As of Sunday, the Australian Electoral Commission recorded Riverina MP and Nationals candidate Michael McCormack at more than 50 per cent of the vote at all but 19 locations.
Mr McCormack tied with Labor candidate Mark Jeffreson on 40 votes each at Sydney's booth for people outside their electorate.
Mr Jeffreson recorded his best results at Young, Cootamundra, Gundagai, Harden and Tolland with between 31 and 37 per cent of the vote.
United Australia Party's best location was at Collingullie, at 16 per cent, and the Greens fared best at Wagga South Public School at 13.5 per cent.
The turnout rate was about 84 per cent of more than 114,000 people enrolled.
