However the Boiled Lollies have made plenty of changes for the top-of-the-table clash against Ag College at Beres Ellwood Oval on Saturday.
Halfback Drew Martin and winger Tom Jennings are both unavailable while coach James Curgenven has made some changes to bulk up their forward clash.
Nick Gleeson and Gordon Lagaali come into the forward pack while Matt Clarke has been given a shot in the number nine jumper.
Curgenven was looking to bulk up the side to tackle an in-form Ag College outfit.
"The guys have been training well and with Aggies we wanted to bring a bit more size into the game," he said.
"That's why we've brought in a few changes."
Wagga City were a real surprise packet when they downed Waratahs to start the season but won't have that same unknown factor this time around.
In their biggest challenge since then and Curgenven wants them to lift.
"One hundred per cent they are going to be one of the strongest sides we've played since Tahs and are going to give us a run for our money," he said. "I'm just hoping our boys switch on like they did against Tahs and we play the full 80."
The two teams are locked on 16 points on top of the ladder with three wins and a loss from the first four rounds.
Ag College's loss was to Waratahs, while Wagga City's was against a Tumut side who were beaten 55-0 by Aggies heading into last week's bye.
Despite two of City's three wins coming up bottom three sides, Ag College coach Will Mitchell expects a tough test.
"City are obviously a pretty good side if they can knock off Waratahs," Mitchell said.
"We are expecting their scrum to be good and their back line to be sharp so we have to make sure defensively we really switch on.
"I think they will play a good, expansive game of footy which we have to be ready for."
Gerard McTaggart returns to their line-up after missing the big win over the Bulls and with the exception of injured captain Cam Duffy Aggies are virtually at full strength.
Curgenven is looking for more physicality from his side to stop Aggies getting over the advantage line and more consistency.
"We have good 20-30 minute spells then fall to sleep a little bit but against Aggies we will get punished for that," he said.
"We have to make sure we play the full 80 minutes and that our tackles are strong to keep them away from the gain line."
Meanwhile Tumut will be looking to hit back from their first loss of the season when they face another tough test against Leeton at Jarrah Oval.
They've made a number of changes to their team after the blowout scoreline.
