The Reddies showed positive signs with good performances against Griffith and Tumut before being blown away by Wagga City before the bye.
Coach Paul Hood is looking to get back to what was working for the side ahead of a trip to Murrayfield to take on an Albury outfit with just one win to their credit so far.
"We were disappointing against Wagga City and went away from a lot of the things we've been working on," Hood said.
"We've really been concentrating on getting back up to the level we where against Tumut and at level we should be able to give Albury a good shake."
Hood has been pleased with how they've trained since the 57-10 loss.
To make things harder CSU head into the clash without Brad Crawford and Sam Mulquinney who are both unavailable.
