The Fiji Bati player has linked with Young and will be thrown straight into the action to tackle Junee at Laurie Daley Oval on Saturday.
The halfback was part of a Fijian side that played Australia and Papua New Guinea in a three-way series in 2017.
The 27-year-old was one of a handful of players involved who didn't have NRL experience and Cherrypickers coach Roy Jewitt is excited to see what he can bring to the side.
"He's going to bring a bit of speed and he looks dangerous with the ball in hand," Jewitt said.
"He only trained on Tuesday so we haven't seen a lot of him apart from when he played against Australia.
"I think he'll bring some excitement to the team and some energy."
Jewitt has made plenty of positional changes as he searches for a more consistent side.
Komaisavou is at halfback and will have a new halves partner with Blake Hewitt moving from hooker to five-eighth.
It sees Tom Bush return to fullback with James Schiller on the wing.
It's a surprise move as Schiller has been a standout for the Cherrypickers, including setting up their final two tries to earn a draw with Temora last week.
Jesse Corcoran has also moved to hooker but it's something Jewitt expects will suit.
"We need a bit more on our edges and a bit more organisation and talk," Jewitt said. "We want to put some combinations on our left and right that will compliment each other."
Young have had a win and a draw through the first month of the season.
Jewitt is looking for more consistency up against a Junee outfit just behind them on the ladder.
"We've just got to learn to complete our sets and finish our sets with a good kick and chase to put the pressure back on the opposition instead of letting them off the hook," he said.
"We do some really good things and then we do some stupid things and it throws all the good work out the window."
