Police arrested a man after discovering jewellery and other items at a Wagga property on Tuesday.

The search warrant was executed at a residence in Boorooma at 9.35am.
In an online statement, the Riverina Police District said the prompt response was in relation to a number of reported property theft incidents within this suburb, over recent months.
"A quantity of jewellery and other property items were seized," it read.
"A young male occupant that was present at the search location, has been arrested and charged."
Riverina Police continue to encourage members of the community to report any suspicious activity within their neighbourhood to local police by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Wagga Police on 6922 2598 and 6922 2599.
