TRAC will take on Mater Dei Catholic College, who will be looking to bounce after last week's 31-point loss to Kildare Catholic College.

TRAC have won the past two statewide Currie Cup under 15 schoolboy competitions and have been building nicely for a tilt at the Carroll Cup.

TRAC coach Dane Fuller believes depth is the key to his team's chances this year.

"I'm really happy with our depth, which has probably been building for a while and is pretty pleasing to have," Fuller said.

"We've got pretty good quality and we're pretty even all over the place. We've even got a few guys missing out who maybe in previous years might have been starting.

"That depth is the most important thing."

TRAC's team has no shortage of players with first grade experience, another thing that pleases Fuller.

"We've probably got more experience, first grade experience, then we've had in previous years, in terms of an even spread," he said.

"We've got a handful of year 10 boys playing and even they have had a taste this year...and that first grade style is closer to Carroll Cup style than under 17s is."

Fuller did not want to make any bold predictions surrounding his team, instead wanting his team to concentrate on doing the basics right.

"If you're in it, you want to win it but that's not our goal," he said.

"We just want to play to our potential. I want the boys to play good team footy with plenty of pressure. If we do that, the result will take care of itself."
