Owner Tim Towse was just seconds away from catching the people in the act.
Mr Towse said the CCTV footage showed a white Toyota Kluger driving into the station's front door at about 4.40am.
"It looks like there were two men in the car. They drove it straight into the door and the passenger immediately jumped out of the car and entered the store," he said.
"The man hopped over the counter, took what he could and then left.
"Just 30 seconds to a minute after they drove off, the footage shows me pulling up to work."
Mr Towse said the men took a section of the register and a donation box. He said the vehicle has been found - abandoned and destroyed by a fire.
Overall, he said they have stolen between $50 to $60.
Mr Towse said has mostly felt frustrated since discovering the incident.
"The staff and I work really hard to make this a successful business. And when we start moving forward, guys like these knock us three steps back," he said.
Mr Towse said the police have been notified about the incident.
