Ms Melita is the sexuality and relationships coordinator for the disability service provider, which is bringing its Feel the Vibe event to Wagga.
"Historically people with disability receive fewer opportunities to learn about sexuality and sexual health," she said.
"This is an area that is often overlooked or deemed as not needed for people with disability.
"Our Feel the Vibe event aims to change this. We know it's a human right to have the opportunity to access this education."
However, Ms Melita said old attitudes were slowly changing, and she hoped the Feel the Vibe event would help provide information and encourage discussions.
She described Feel the Vibe as "a fun and interactive event where participants will learn all about sexuality and sexual health in a welcoming and supportive environment".

"It aims to give people with disability who are aged 18 and over the chance to access information on sexuality, sexual health and sexual fulfillment and to assist them engage them more in this area," Ms Melita said.
Michael Merrylees, Northcott's Murrumbidgee area manager, said the roadshow would be held at Wagga RSL Club on May 9.
"There are very few places where the subject of disability and sexuality is openly discussed," Mr Merrylees said.
"Even though it is an important part of being human, it's a subject that's not often spoken about. In fact, Northcott is one of the few disability service providers that offer this type of education.
"When we talk about sexuality and relationship-related rights we mean the rights that everyone has when it comes to relationships and sex. These include the right to make our own choices; the right to learn about the body, sex and relationships; the right to enjoy sexual relationships, and the right to be free from abuse."
The free two-hour workshop is split into two simultaneous sessions, one for adults with disability and one for families and carers.
