The size will be needed as well to help deal with what is expected to be a sloppy Beres Ellwood Oval pitch.
Coach Will Mitchell admitted the expected conditions play in favour of the bigger Bulls pack, but is confident the return of the likes of Ben Brooke and Liam Mowbray can help counter that.
"It is going to suit them more than us but that doesn't matter," Mitchell said.
"We can adapt.
"We just have to as we can't expect to just play dry-weather footy all the time."
Ag College can do it after scoring one of their best wins in recent history in horrible conditions at Jarrah Oval to down Leeton in the last year's preliminary final.
Mowbray is back in the second row, Charles Callaghan at flanker while Brooke returns from missing the clash with Waratahs at number eight.
Mitchell expects it will be a big boost.
"We missed that punch in the middle and had to rely on individual players to get us going forward and Waratahs identified that," he said.
"Having a few more bigger ball carriers in there and what they also bring is a lot of chat in defence.
"It is something we lacked a bit as well last week.
"It will be very good to have them back."
It means Sam Chalmers returns to hooker.
Pat Logan also comes back into the side at inside centre, replacing the suspended Joe Hamblin.
Hamblin received a one-game suspension by the Southern Inland judiciary for a dangerous tackle on Waratahs captain Tim Corcoran.
Mitchell believes Logan can help take some of the playmaking load off Hamish Pennington.
"We're looking for that other pivot player as well," he said.
"It takes a bit of the pressure off Hamish.
"It will be good to have Patty back."
After the red card to Hamblin, plus a yellow to Simon Miller in the loss to Waratahs, discipline is one thing that needs improving.
However Mitchell is looking to concentrate of defence to contain the Bulls' fast charge to start the season.
"It all starts with defence and obviously keeping 15 blokes on the paddock is pretty important too," he said.
"We can't let ill discipline getting away of us the win we are after."
With wins over Albury, Wagga City and CSU to start the season Tumut are the only side yet to taste defeat so far in 2019.
However with only one of those sides in the top five the game against Ag College on the road shapes as their biggest challenge so far.
Bulls halfback Andy Graham is out of the clash, causing a back line reshuffle.
Brad Gorman has moved to nine, Harrison Friswell to 10, Charles Dickson shifts to inside centre with Vaughn Scott back in the side while Coen Potter comes out of the back and into fullback.
