The Swans got off to a strong start and hung on for a 12-point victory over an inaccurate Turvey Park, 9.3 (57) to 5.15 (45).
Turvey Park closed within four points of Griffith at three-quarter-time but the Swans kicked three straight to the Bulldogs' 1.4 in the final term to run out victors.
Duncan showed he's still got it, gathering more than 40 touches across half-back in his milestone appearance.
He said the win made the occasion complete.
"Without a doubt. I was thinking to myself that if we lost, I was going home, I didn't want to front up to the club if we lost," he said.
"It was good in a sense that we didn't play our best footy but we still somehow managed to get over the line.
'Turvey, full credit to them, they had a game plan and they stuck to it. They'll beat a lot of teams this year.
"We're just thankful they didn't take their chances."
It was another encouraging performance from Turvey Park, who pushed Wagga Tigers last week after defeating Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes by two points in the opening round.
Jack Haggar and Harry Woods were the Bulldogs' best, who lost Luke Cuthbert to a yellow card during the contest.
James Toscan, Jordan Iudica and Will Griggs were others to play well for Griffith, while Jacob Conlan kicked four goals.
In perhaps the best news of the day for Griffith, Guy Orton got through his return from a back injury in reserve grade.
Orton was unsure at one stage whether he was going to play this year at all due to the back injury.
