Born last Wednesday, this is the third foal for parents Jenny and Forest Gump after Forest Junior and Bubba, and the keepers are on the look out for a name for the newest baby boy.
The zoo team is currently taking suggestions from the public, but curator Kira McBeath said there was one in particular that seemed to be the favourite.
"He doesn't have a name yet, but the most popular is Lieutenant Dan, but we're hoping we can change it up and go with something a bit different," she said.
"I like Shrimp, which is still Gump themed."
According to Ms McBeath, mum Jenny will have a break from breeding while baby Gump steals the show and reels in the crowd.
