Footy's back, and so is The Daily Advertiser's weekend sports blog.
The Riverina League gets underway, highlighted by a grand final rematch between Collingullie-Glenfield Park and Griffith. The 2016 grand final is also revisited when Leeton-Whitton host a Tigers team which has some premiership stars back.
There's also a grand final rematch in the Farrer League with a young and new-look Marrar hosting North Wagga at Temora, while Coleambally, Barellan and the Jets are at home.
Group Nine will light up Sunday with a host of intriguing encounters, including Tumut at home to Temora, Albury welcoming Wagga Brothers, Southcity hosting Junee while Gundagai travel to Young and Roos are at Coota.
Waratahs will be desperate to recover from the loss to City that ended their 16-game winning streak. Tahs are in Albury while City head to Tuut, CSU travel to Griffith and Aggies are in Leeton.
And there's plenty of round ball action as the Pascoe Cup continues and the Wanderers are on the road for their first game in Canberra this season.
