LEETON'S Sauce Communications has done it again, proving working and owning a company in the bush is no barrier to success.
The company was named the mid-size PR agency of the year at the prestigious Mumbrella CommsCon awards held recently at a gala event in Sydney.
Competing with the best in the business the industry awards shine a light on public relations and communications, individuals, teams and projects from all sectors across Australia and New Zealand.
This marks Sauce's eighth consecutive Agency of the Year title and second consecutive year taking out CommsCon's mid-size PR agency of the year.
Sauce director Liane Sayer-Roberts, was commended as one of six finalists in the PR leader of the year, her first time shortlisted in that category.
"It's an honour for all of us at Sauce to be recognised by our industry peers and to share the stage with so many passionate and talented professionals who care about delivering great client results," Ms Sayer-Roberts said.
"I am very proud to lead this group of outstanding women, and it continues to be a privilege to do so proudly from Leeton."
The awards recognised several other agencies, companies and individuals from across the country.
Sauce specialises in working with medium to large commercial and government clients that are based in, represent or need to reach rural and regional audiences.
Some of its big clients include SunRice, Australia Post and De Bortoli Wines.
