It doesn't matter if you're an old hat at performing in public or someone who prefers to blend into the crowd, everyone is welcome at Romano's Pub Choir with Geoff Simpson and Kylie Daly.
"It's a relaxed, fun time for everyone to connect with others in the community," Ms Daly said.
Mr Simpson and Ms Daly, hosts of Romano's Pub Choir, said it gives people a chance to connect with others and learn a new and easy song.
"It's good songs and good people," Ms Daly said.
"The focus is on having fun and there is something so joyful about singing."
"Just turn up and we will print off the song lyrics then teach people the verse, chorus, the melody and try to teach them the harmony," Mr Simpson said.
"Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not, but there is no pressure."
Ms Daly said the first one had been great and she can't wait to see the event grow.
Belinda King, Romano's licensee, said the idea originated from one of the chefs.
"He used to live in Brisbane, where pub choirs are popular," she said.
"We have been working on it for a long time and we are really excited to have Geoff and Kylie onboard.
"At our first one, we had about 40 people which was great.":
Ms King said she wanted to start it as a community initiative and a way to bring people together.
"We found a lot of people at the first one were new to Wagga and found it was a great way to socialise," she said.
"It's free, so it really is for anyone whether they are kids or adults, it's all about having fun and learning new songs.
"We have set dates through to the end of July and we hope it continues to grow."
The next Pub Choir is on April 10 at Romano's Hotel at the corner of Sturt and Fitzmaurice streets from 7pm to 9.30pm.
