About 10.50am on Saturday, officers attached to Wagga Highway Patrol stopped a black Holden Commodore utility on Dobney Avenue and spoke with the 41-year-old male driver and sole occupant.
Due to the man's suspicious behaviour, a search of the vehicle was conducted, with police seizing crystal and liquid substances believed to be methylamphetamine, drug implements, a handgun, a knife, an electronic control device, a modified golf club, handcuffs and mobile phones.
Upon searching the man, police seized a crystal substance believed to be methylamphetamine, and a drug implement.
He was arrested and taken to Wagga Police Station, where he was charged with 11 offences, including supply prohibited drug, possessing a drug implement, being in custody of a knife, and possessing an unregistered firearm without safe storage or a permit.
He was refused bail to appear at court on Sunday.
