It was her life's ambition to own a "fully sick VL Commodore", but sadly, suicide cut Beth Fehon's dream short in 2005.

To save any parent from experiencing the same pain, four years ago, her parents Trish and Peter Fehon founded the Beyond Bitumen 'cruise for a cause'.
"It's about raising awareness for beyondblue, and I think this year has been the best yet," said Mrs Fehon.
The four-day journey from Yass to Cowra has already smashed previous year's records, with 94 cars, and 220 participants raising over $400,000.
Helped in part by the auction of Beth's dream car, purchased for the grand total of $36,000 by Chris Whittaker.
The car will now join Mr Whittaker's dozen other pristine Holdens.
"I've been friends with Trish and Peter [Fehon] for many years, and I've been to every [Beyond Bitumen ride] since it started," said the Orange local.
"I never knew Beth, but when they told me about the ride, I wanted to support it.
"I've always wanted a VL. I knew I'd bid on it, I just didn't know how far I would go."
For brothers Joe and Connor Kersh, the annual ride also provides an opportunity to "meet in the middle, and for a good cause."
Each travelling from their respective homes in Melbourne, Victoria and Townsville, Queensland, the brothers have shared driving in Connor's Ford Bronco.
"Something like this can't be done on your own," said Joe Kersh.
"Beyondblue is one of those one that doesn't always get all the attention, and I work in construction, I see it all the time. Blokes don't want to talk, myself included."
Just two of nine children, the brothers fondly remember growing up between rural NSW and Queensland.
"We grew up in the bush, so this is a way to come back to our roots. Connor was just saying, 'there's nothing better than the open road through the bush'."
