A Riverina teenager remains missing after failing to return home from school on Tuesday, with police appealing for public assistance to help find her.

Erin Thompson, aged 15, was last seen at a high school on Bogong Place in Tumut about 9.40am on Tuesday.
Erin’s family contacted officers from Riverina Police District when she failed to return home after school in the afternoon.
Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare, as her disappearance is described as being out of character.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall, with a medium build, and black shoulder-length hair.
She was last seen wearing school uniform, with a blue polo and navy blue shorts, and a grey, pink, and white backpack.
Anyone who may be able to assist with locating Erin is urged to come forward.
