The girls proved a touch above at Conolly Rugby Complex on Sunday as they stormed to a 19-2 win over Easts Roosters in the inaugural Junior State Cup southern conference.
With around half the team winning the under 16s State Cup last year, the most senior side went in as heavy favourites and showed why with an impressive display.
Firing out of the blocks, Wagga scored the first two tries through Bronte Prestage only for the Roosters to get one back through Abby Bonic.
However would be the only time Easts would be able to find their way over after some desperate defence for the Wagga side kept a number of opportunities at bay.
With brilliant transition play the Vipers scored nine tries to one to complete a big weekend.
Madison Haggar scored a hat-trick on the wing as Wagga's expansive game proving hard to stop with Cleo Randall and Ella McFarlane among the creative sparks for the home side.
Easts had a number of good scoring chances but each time Wagga found a way to stop it.
Coach Mark Wade put it down to the work the girls have put into their fitness.
"It was awesome and just because we ran," Wade said.
"We're fit and never touched a ball for nearly three months.
"We just did pure fitness as I know the girls have the ability to stop tries and to score them so getting fit was our main option and that is what we did."
He was pleased with their performance.
It is the first time the State Cup has been split with the top eight teams from the southern conference to play the top eight teams from the northern conference at the state finals at Wollongong in late April.
Wade is now looking to plot a course to victory there.
The under 18s will be one of 11 teams at the state finals.
Only the under 12 boys failed to make it through to the top eight in each age group.
Most were knocked out in the quarter-finals but the under 8s girls made it through to the semis before going down to eventual winners Cronulla 17-10.
The under 16s boys also lost their semi-final.
They went down to eventual winners Penrith Panthers 9-6.
