Taking on the hosts, Brothers just proved too good.
They scored once in each half to take a 12-0 victory.
Little was thrilled with how they started off.
"I was very impressed," Little said.
"We still have a lot to work on, but the boys completion rate was really good and I was really happy with that."
Dylan McLachlan opened the scoring at his new club after kicking for himself four minutes in.
The game turned into an arm wrestle before Cade Price sealed the win with two minutes left after creating plenty of space off a scrum.
Little was also impressed with how the team defended, especially late when the held the Mallee Men out in front of their home crowd.
The coach spent most of the game on the sidelines and was also pleased with how the McLachlan brothers Dylan and Tyson controlled things.
"It is great to have to have good halves and it helps my game a lot more to direct everyone," Little said.
