Proximity to two large events on Friday as well as standout weather proved beneficial for Borambola Wine's outdoor festival.
"There's something like 10,000 more people [in the city] tonight for the football and then it's a sold out show at the theatre for the John Paul Young concert, so there's another 500 or so," said Naomi Miller, event co-founder.
Since beginning on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in 2016, the monthly night has come to attract more than 4000. This year it included two local musicians and up to 12 food trucks or stall holders.
"A number of businesses have actually launched from Cork and Forks, so we've certainly grown in terms of the businesses here."
Generally held on the last Friday of the month, the event will take a short hiatus over March to make way for the food and wine festival, and other city gatherings.
